Description:

· Promote and sell paper and graphics products to meet or exceed both the short term and long term district/group sales goals.
· Develop opportunities with target accounts and prospects for new business.
· Perform account reviews with management and the National Sales Manager.
· Remain informed on industry trends and market conditions.
· Develop an accurate, detailed and comprehensive knowledge of each account in the district/region.
· Make sales calls on customers and prospects at a frequency that will place the Stores Division in the preferred position.
· Build customer relationships through credibility and consistency.
· Develop a sufficient number of high potential new account prospects to guarantee future sales growth at greater than the market growth rate.
· Investigate and resolve all customer complaints promptly.
· Assist in collection efforts on assigned accounts.
· Properly communicate announced product and price changes, availability conditions and other pertinent information to the customer.
· Acquire system knowledge and competence, both operational and informational, to perform all functions at a professional level.
· Spend greater than 80% of time calling on customers.
· Excellent interpersonal, telephone, presentation, oral and written communication skills.
· Proficiency in positive selling techniques.
· Able to deal with a variety of customers in a highly professional and diplomatic manner.
· Ability to work independently.
