Baker Hughes operates in over 90 countries serving independent, international and national oil companies. Our service network is organized into 23 Geomarkets operating in 9 regions and 2 hemispheres. Region and Geomarket management teams work to understand customer needs and coordinate delivery of individual products and comprehensive service solutions that include the right Baker Hughes technologies for the project.

Applicants need to be familiar with down hole directional drilling equipment (IE mud motors, MWD tools, and API connections)
Minimum 2 years relevant industrial experience. Successful completion of written technical pre-assessment.
Functions as part of a world-wide maintenance Technician pool, providing supervised maintenance activities on the current Drilling & Evaluation supported tool suite and surface equipment. Works under the regular supervision of a suitably qualified mentor. Works under a pre-defined training plan and defined levels of maintenance for the Maintenance Facility. Works in an established Maintenance Facility and the scope is restricted to existing Drilling & Evaluation commercial products, in accordance with controlled and documented procedures. Completes a structured probation period and various related assessments within the maintenance facility. Handles special projects, as assigned.Completion of required training and development programs as defined within INTEQ Technician Career Development Program (TCDP). Nationally recognized qualification in a mechanical or electronic discipline e.g. 'Higher National Certificate' ('HNC') or Two year Technical Qualification.
