Position Description:
Positions in this function are responsible for providing expertise or general claims support to teams in reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating, processing and adjusting claims. Authorizes the appropriate payment or refers claims to investigators for further review. Conducts data entry and re-work; analyzes and identifies trends and provides reports as necessary.

Qualifications
· 1 - 2 years of experience processing healthcare claims, including adjustments is required
· 2+ years of customer service is required
· MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required
· Experience with claims appeals and correspondence is preferred
· PPO1, SIMS and FACETS is preferred
· Customer service within health insurance is strongly preferred
· Knowledge of procedure and diagnosis coding practices
· Works with others as part of a team
· High school education or equivalent experience
